HomeVue happens to be a new cloud video surveillance solution that was specially designed for the Xbox console from Microsoft. In fact, this particular plug and play wireless camera system intends to assist ordinary folks to remain connected with those whom they know and love, at the same time allowing them to engage in everyday activities without missing a beat. Right now, the HomeVue is a Kickstarter project, where the Homevue cameras themselves happen to be wireless and are able to be placed just about anywhere and everywhere, in and around the home.

These HomeVue cameras will then send HD video to the cloud, where one can then view it straight from the Xbox or remotely through any other kind of compatible device, be it a smartphone, notebook or tablet, among others. Gamers will be able to play and at the same time, keep watch on a sleeping child, or to check out who is ringing your doorbell.

Expect Homevue to be made available directly via online as well as from select retailers by January next year, although you can place a preorder right now at an asking price of $99 per camera system over on Kickstarter. Would you like to get something like this as a gaming accessory?
