sony-xperia-z3According to a report from last week, we know that the recently announced Sony Xperia Z3 handsets will be making their way to the US soon. Now the good news is that if you had your eyes on the Xperia Z3 and wanted to get it subsidized from a carrier, you will be pleased to learn that T-Mobile will be carrying the device.

According to a tweet by T-Mobile’s senior product official Des, it seems that the handset will be making its way to the carrier’s network in the near future. Des’ tweet is in response to a question from a customer who was wondering if T-Mobile will be carrying the handset and when it would arrive.

The good news is that while it has yet to be released, T-Mobile customers won’t have to wait months for it as Des has stated that the handset is due to arrival in the next few weeks and not months. No specific dates have been mentioned so we guess we will just have to keep our eyes peeled for it.

In the meantime as a quick recap for those who might have missed the announcement, the Sony Xperia Z3 is the latest flagship phone from Sony. It will pack a 5.2-inch Full HD display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor under the hood clocked at 2.5GHz.
