T-Mobile subscribers hanging on to the HTC flagship from 2013 can gear themselves for an over-the-air software update that’s going to land on the One M7 tomorrow. It was confirmed by the carrier over the weekend that this particular update should start rolling out by Wednesday barring any unforeseen problems. By now it looks like the release won’t be delayed beyond tomorrow.

Though before everyone gets all excited, this update doesn’t bring the latest Android OS iteration to T-Mobile HTC One M7. Don’t expect the core OS version to jump up to 4.4.4, those who are waiting for this release may have to wait for a bit longer.

Tomorrow’s update for the T-Mobile HTC One M7 has more to do with Android 4.4.3, which will arrive on this device for the first time since technical approval for this particular version was granted by T-Mobile before the weekend. It delivers all the improvements and enhancements that come part and parcel of Android 4.4.3, as well as some enhancements for the Wi-Fi calling feature.

T-Mobile has offered Wi-Fi calling to its subscribers for a long time and this update should improve the experience for those who are using HTC’s 2013 flagship. The update will hit devices starting tomorrow but it may take a while before it goes live across the entire country.
