iphone 6_2If there was one thing that Apple customers have always asked Apple for, it would be larger displays. This is thanks to Android and Windows Phone OEMs who have released devices whose screens measure more than 1-inch bigger than Apple’s iPhones. Well earlier today, Apple finally listened to their customers with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Both phones feature significantly larger displays than their predecessors along with a host of other new features and improvements, but will all of it be enough to convince customers to make the switch? Well apparently Apple’s CEO Tim Cook thinks so. Speaking to The Wall Street Journal in an interview, Cook was quoted as saying that the new iPhone 6 models will trigger “the mother of all upgrades.”

Cook acknowledges that the larger screens will probably be a big draw, but he said that the phones are “appreciably better in every single way.” He goes on to state that he believes the new iPhones will also be good reason enough to make users from other platforms, such as Android, to make the switch.

The new design, larger screens, improved hardware and camera are certainly pretty compelling, but will Cook’s predictions come true? We guess we will just have to wait and find out for ourselves, but what do you guys think? Has the new iPhone 6 models tempted you to make an upgrade?
