tul suitcaseHow many times have you gone to the airport with your check-in luggage only to find out that you are grossly over the allowed weight limit? We’re sure this has happened more than once, and what you can do is either repack, take some stuff out, or pay money to buy more baggage space. Hardly convenient, right?

Now there are plenty of weighing scales out there designed to test the weight of your packed luggage, but if you wanted a more convenient and slightly more precise measurement, you might be interested in the TUL suitcase Kickstarter project. As you can see in the image above, the TUL suitcase can actually display the total weight of your suitcase on a small LCD display.

Right away this will let you know on the spot or while you pack if you’re close to hitting the maximum allowance offered by the airline company. This is a pretty handy feature if you’re after such convenience. The suitcase itself will measure 64cm x 42cm x 25cm and will also come with a built-in lock that is TSA approved.

The luggage itself will also feature multiple pockets within to allow you to separate your clothing, and will also come with a suitcase jacket to help make it more compact, prevent it from being scratched, and is also weather-resistant. It is also reusable so you can save the environment and money instead of having to wrap your suitcase everytime you travel.

It’s an interesting idea and if you’d like to learn more or pledge to its Kickstarter campaign, head on over to its Kickstarter page for the details.
