moto-x-2014-review-3

A few weeks back Motorola unveiled a new device that many of its fans had been anxiously waiting for, the successor to last year’s popular Moto X flagship. The Moto X (2014) went on sale recently and there were rumors that Verizon would be offering it as well. We had heard that the carrier will start selling Moto X (2014) from September 26th. Those who are interested in picking one up can certainly purchase a Verizon Moto X (2014) right away straight from the carrier or via Moto Maker.

With a conventional two year service contract the Moto X (2014) on Verizon costs $99.99. Different prices are offered on equipment installment plan depending on the color picked. On Verizon Edge customers will have to make equal monthly payments of $24.99 for the black Moto X (2014) and $27.99 for the same device in white.

There’s another way to purchase the device particularly if you would like to have more onboard storage as well as various customization options. The Verizon Moto X (2014) can also be purchased through Moto Maker, Motorola’s online customization studio. The 32GB model starts at $149.99 with a two year contract. Price for unlocked version is $499.99.

AT&T is the only other carrier that’s available on Moto Maker at this point in time, so if Big Red isn’t your cup of tea, you can go with the second largest mobile carrier in the country.
