xboxonecontrA few months ago, Microsoft released PC drivers that would enable the Xbox One controllers to work on Windows-based computers. This is a welcome addition for PC gamers who wanted to play certain games on a gamepad and found that the Xbox One’s controller was the most comfortable for them.

However if you don’t have an Xbox One controller at home, you might be pleased to learn that Microsoft has recently announced the Xbox One controller for Windows. This is basically the same controller that owners of the console are already familiar with, but it has been designed to be compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8 computers.

It will also be a wired controller so for those looking for a wireless alternative, you’d be out of luck and there is no word on whether Microsoft plans to create a wireless model later one, although they did make one for the Xbox 360 so we guess it would not be completely out of the question.

The controller itself will be priced at $59.95 and is expected to make its way to gamers come this November, so if you’d like to learn more about the controller and its features, head on over to Microsoft’s website for the details.
