zte-zmaxBattery life on smartphones has always been a huge concern for many smartphone users. It also factors into their decision when trying to decide what new phone that they should get. Well if you’re after a phone with a huge battery and does not cost a bomb, you might be interested to learn that T-Mobile has recently announced the ZTE ZMAX.

The handset will be priced at $10.50 a month over the course of two years, which should add up to around $252 in total, which admittedly is a pretty decent price to pay for a phone with its specs. Granted it’s not the most powerful smartphone in the market, but it does pack a 3,400mAh battery which is pretty sizable.

The ZTE ZMAX will also come with a 5.7-inch display, although its resolution will be of the 720p HD variety, but if you don’t mind not having Full or QHD, then we guess this isn’t really an issue to begin with. The handset will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset and will come with 16GB of onboard storage.

There will be an 8MP rear-facing camera accompanying it and will run on Android 4.4 KitKat. The phone will also come with Dolby Digital sound enhancements and will play nicely with T-Mobile’s LTE network as well as support WiFi calling. If all of this sounds good, you can expect to pick one up for yourself come 24th of September.
