As technology gets more advanced, we are starting to automate things in our home. After all we have devices like smart thermostats, smart smoke detectors, wall plugs that allows us to turn on and off our lights remotely, smart lightbulbs that allows us to adjust the brightness and color of them, so it’s hardly a surprise that we now have devices that allows us to better manage home electronics like air-conditioning.

This is what the Ambi Climate is hoping to achieve with its Kickstarter campaign, which according to the company is able to reduce your air-conditioning costs by as much as 30%. The device is said to work with just about any existing infrared remote controlled AC unit and will be able to automatically control to ensure that an optimal temperature is reached.

It will also be able to take into account things like the temperature inside the house, outside the house, and measure sunlight, humidity, and other elements, all of which will be taken into consideration when trying to achieve optimal temperature. The Ambi Climate will also be able to learn the user’s preference and habits, like when they leave the house so as to better manage the air-conditioning.

The device will also be able to pair with iOS and Android devices which allows users to remotely control the Ambi Climate. It is currently it a Kickstarter project which is seeking $25,000 in funding, so if you’d like to learn more or pledge your support, head on over to its Kickstarter page for the details.
