apple beatsAs Beats does not have their own retail store, damaged headphones would have to be taken back to the store you bought it from, or you would have to send them yourself to Beats’ where they would repair it and send it back to you. Well it looks like thanks to Apple’s acquisition of Beats, after sales support could be a lot easier.

A report from TechInGreek (via Mac Life) has revealed a screenshot in which it suggests that Apple could soon be providing in-store support for damaged Beats headphones. The screenshot was that of a memo that hinted that Apple will soon be responsible for providing service to customers who have purchased Beats Electronics headphones.

Unfortunately it does not mention when this will come into effect, but if you have a pair of Beats headphones and were wondering about future support, it looks like it could be as easy as popping over to your nearby Apple Store to get it looked at, which could save you time and trouble from having to mail it in.

It also looks like Apple is slowly bringing Beats into the fold of the company. A report from last week suggested that Apple could be removing Bose’s products from their stores which could be due to the lawsuit (since settled) that Bose and Beats had with each other, and could also be to help Beats achieve more prominence in their retail outlets.
