iPhone-6-review-12According to an earlier report, it seems that Apple is shifting their focus away from the production of the iPhone 6 to the iPhone 6 Plus. This hardly comes as a surprise as it would seem that the demand for the larger iPhone far outweighs that of the iPhone 6. In fact according to the numbers, the iPhone 6 is outselling the iPhone 6 Plus by a huge margin simply because there aren’t enough units to go around.

However it looks like Apple has need to readjust their production one more time. According to a new report from Apple’s supply chain in Taiwan, it seems that Apple has once again readjusted their order ratio to meet the higher than expected demand of the iPhone 6 Plus. The original ratio of iPhone 6 to iPhone 6 Plus production is said to have been set at 70:30.

However if the reports are accurate, Apple could be thinking of shifting that to a 55:45 ratio instead. Just yesterday during Apple’s earnings call, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook stated that the demand far outstripped that of the supply. It also seems that the demand is so great that Apple might not be able to balance out the supply and demand by the end of the year, meaning that customers could still be hardpressed to get an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus in time for the holiday.
