It was just a few days ago when we brought you word that a public launch for BBM for Windows Phone will happen, and boy, was there very little time to wait. The update of this messenger app would also usher in a slew of improvements to its notifications, not to mention the likes of a new invite screen, alongside a slew of other changes and additions that ultimately intend for you to have a more user friendly experience. The latest BBM for Windows Phone app would see its version number bumped up to 1.2.0.12, and you can check out a sample of the list of changes right after the jump.
For starters, it will come with improved notifications where one is able to check out a message preview outside of BBM, and this will include both the sender and chat content. How about sprucing up your messages in the future after this update with 16 new emoticons to choose from? Those would definitely add a wider range of personality to your chats, while a brand new invite screen that will offer suggested BBM contacts makes life more convenient. Not only that, there is also a simplified PIN barcode screen that lets you display and scan barcodes in a single place.
