Coffee snobs are very particular about their coffee as expected, such as where their beans come from, how it is brewed, how finely are the beans ground, water temperature, milk consistency, and so on. This is what separates a good barista from the average. However if you have absolutely no idea how to brew a cup of coffee on your own, perhaps the Bruvelo coffee maker might be of interest to you.

The coffee maker is a Kickstarter project seeking funding. What makes the Bruvelo different from most of the competition is the fact that one is able to control the machine via a smartphone app. According to its description, the Bruvelo will be able to filter water, manage the temperature and the ratio, pre-rinse the filter, as well as weigh and grind the beans.

Basically all this means is that you have to fill the tank with water, pour in the beans, place your cup under it, and wait for your coffee to come out. Like we said one of its unique features is that it can be controlled via an accompanying app. This helps separate it from the likes of automated machines like the Nespresso as users are able to choose their grind and brew settings, thus eliciting a different taste from the same beans.

If this sounds like the coffee machine of your dreams, you’ll have to pledge at least $300 to get your hands on one, if and when it becomes successfully funded. According to its creators, the machine will retail for a whopping $500 upon launch, so $300 seems like a good deal. To learn more or pledge your support, head on over to its Kickstarter page or check out the video above for the details.
