iphone-6-plus-china-unicom

Now this is a novel idea that many iPhone 6 Plus owners will like. A carrier in China is offering customers who purchase the iPhone 6 Plus a pocket enlargement service. The idea is pretty simple. Customers can get the pockets on their pants enlarged so that they’re big enough to comfortably accommodate the iPhone 6 Plus, which has already been accused of bending when being carried around in tight pockets.

The carrier in question is China Unicom, the second largest mobile carrier in the People’s Republic. It is offering in-house pocket enlargement to customers who pick up Apple’s largest iPhone ever. China Unicom has actually hired a group of tailors to provide this service at many of its stores across the country.

This may have something to do with reports of iPhone 6 Plus bending in pockets. Apple’s 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus isn’t the only large screen size touting device available in China. Many Android devices have even larger displays and there have never been any reports of a similar service being offered for them.

China Unicom may not be the only carrier that thought of doing this. There are reports that KPN, carrier in the Netherlands, also offered a similar pocket enlargement service for customers who purchased the iPhone 6 Plus.
