PlayStation 4 owners have had to wait for Driveclub for over a year since it was delayed back in November 2013. When the game did launch it wasn’t exactly smooth sailing. Many of its features rely upon online access since multiplayer is pretty much the essence of this title. Since launch Driveclub owners have been facing many issues when trying to connect to online servers but developer Evolution Studio now says that these issues have been fixed for “majority” of the people that are playing Driveclub.

In an update on the official Facebook page for this game, Evolution Studios revealed that it is still improving server performance but majority of the players should now be able to connect and play online without any hassles.

The studio also promised that more server updates and upgrades will come online over the next few days so that the online connectivity issues can be fixed once and for all. Once players are online they can take part in multiplayer races, compete in face-offs, play for their club and much more.

Evolution Studios has promised that it will keep players informed as progress is made. It didn’t even mention the free PlayStation Plus Edition which was delayed after the online issues surfaced. There was talk of players being hit by online issues being compensated in some way, but Evolution Studios has not expanded on that as well.
