dropbox-update-imageIf you’re the type of user who relies heavily on their SD card in their phone, you might be pleased to learn that Dropbox has recently announced an update to their Android app in which SD card file transfer support has been added. This means that in the event that your phone’s storage is full, you will be able to move files from Dropbox to your SD card directly, thus making it a smoother and more efficient process.

It is also ideal for users who might not have much data to use or who might be traveling overseas where internet connectivity might not be so available, so accessing Dropbox might be a little difficult. So by being able to pull files from Dropbox to your SD card directly ahead of your travel, you can make your trip a little more convenient.

The updated app is currently available via the Google Play Store so if you haven’t updated the app yet or if you have yet to check out Dropbox, you can go ahead and do so. In the meantime for those who have updated Dropbox on their Android devices, the transferring of files seems to be a straightforward process. All you’d have to do is tap the “Quick Action” button, select “More”, “Export”, and then “Save to device”.
