battlefield hardlineIf there is one reason to get excited over Battlefield Hardline it would be the fact that unlike other Battlefield titles which tends to be more military-focused, Hardline offers up a refreshing change in scenery by allowing gamers to play as law enforcement officers. The game was originally pegged for a release this year but was later delayed to 2015.

Well for those wondering when exactly in 2015 might we be able to see the game, EA has recently announced that Battlefield Hardline will be seeing a release on the 17th of March 2015 as far as North American markets are concerned. Those living in Europe can expect to see the game released two days later on the 19th of March.

Battlefield Hardline will be available across a variety of platforms, including the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and the Xbox One. The reason for the delay was apparently due to its developers feeling that the game could use more innovation. According to a statement released in July, “We decided that the right thing to do was to take more time to ensure Hardline is the best, most innovative Battlefield experience we can give to you, our fans.”

Given the amount of issues and criticism EA received over Battlefield 4, the publisher promised that they would be learning from their mistakes and will not be repeating it with Battlefield Hardline, so we guess we’ll just have to wait until March 2015 to see if that statement is true.
