Fellow Netflix subscribers are allowed to take a moment and throw their hands up in the air. One of the most popular TV series to ever grace the airwaves is making its way to the world’s largest online video streaming subscription service in the near future. Netflix confirmed through a tweet today that all seasons of Friends, every single episode, will be available for on-demand streaming in the U.S. and Canada starting January 1st, 2015.
In case you can’t believe this, don’t worry, its pretty much a done deal. Even Time Warner made the announcement today during its investor event. Friends really is coming to Netflix. Recently the 10th anniversary of this popular series has passed, it ran from 1994 to 2004.
Starring Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc,David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow in the main roles this series follows this group of friends during their day to day lives in New York City. One can safely say that Friends is one of the best shows and for Netflix its a great addition to its streaming library.
This NBC sitcom is still widely syndicated today and even though a decade has passed since it ended Friends happens to be quite popular even today. Its one of those series that always lives in the hearts and minds of fans, fans who will now be able to binge through all 236 episodes on Netflix.
