With reports that the iPhone 6 Plus can bend in the pocket of its users, Lewis Hilsenteger of Unbox Therapy decided to try and see if he could bend it with his bare hands, which he managed to do after applying a bit of force to it. Well if you were thinking that he was being a bit unfair by singling out the iPhone 6 Plus, you might be pleased to learn that Unbox Therapy is back and this time they are bending the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

Now with the Galaxy Note 4 sporting a metal band around it, it seems that this has made it slightly more malleable compared to its predecessor which was primarily made from plastic. What this means is that yes, the Galaxy Note 4 will bend but as Hilsenteger notes at the end of the video, almost every phone will bend if you were to apply enough force to it.

However we guess the point of the video is to show that it will take a considerable amount of force just to bend the phone, so you can rest assured that the Galaxy Note 4 will not be bending just because you place it in your pocket, unless you were to place it in your back pocket and sit on it, that would be a different story.

There have been some who have spoken up about the Bendgate controversy, like T-Mobile’s CEO who seemed to dismiss Unbox Therapy’s method of testing as ridiculous. In any case if you have a few minutes to spare, you can check out the Galaxy Note 4’s bend test in the video above.
