With every announcement of the next-generation build of Android, Google has revealed the name of the build and it is usually something that is sweets-related. However with Android L, many are still wondering as to what the “L” could represent. Some have speculated it could stand for Lemon Meringue Pie, Licorice, Lollipop, and so on.

Well we expect that Google will make it official tomorrow where they are also expected to announce the new Nexus X handset and the Nexus 9 tablet. In the meantime it seems that Google has decided to take the opportunity to tease us with potential names for the update in a video they released called “Sweeeeet”.

The video is basically a bunch of people dressed up as various desserts who are preparing for audition for the Android L name. Hilariously enough Google decided to toss in an “Oreo” just for the heck of it, although with the “O” build of Android a few years away from happening, could this be a teaser/hint at what’s to come?

In any case we’re just speculating at this point in time, but if you have a minute to spare, check out the teaser video above. In the meantime what do you guys think Android L will be officially known as? Let us know in the comments below!
