Microsoft really wants you to know that you should use MicrosoftStore.com to pre-order upcoming Xbox games which is why it is adding yet another incentive to keep you from going with some other retailer. Today it has announced that Xbox Live Rewards members will earn 15,000 rewards credits, which are equivalent to $15, for each Xbox One or Xbox 360 title pre-ordered and shipped through the aforementioned website.

Customers who pre-order a game through MicrosoftStore.com already receive a $10 gift card or $10 on Xbox Live, this is an added incentive that has been announced today and these credits can be used to purchase games, music and movies through the Xbox Live Store.

There’s just one caveat though. Customers can only pre-order three games to receive these extra credits, they won’t receive more beyond the limit. Those who pre-order Halo: The Master Chief Collection will receive exclusive content and so will customers who go for Sunset Overdrive.

You don’t necessarily have to be an Xbox Live Rewards member to take advantage of this. Non-members will receive 10,000 extra credits for each pre-order and will have to abide by the three title limit as well, but 30,000 credits will certainly be enough to spend on map packs, games, movies and other content.
