office-osxDo parents love all of their children equally? That might be the case on paper, but many a time, parents do have their personal favorites, and perhaps in the case of Microsoft, they happen to love other “children” more than Office for OS X. Why do we say so? Well, the most recent major release for this particular platform happens to be Office 2011, although that will soon be an outdated statistic after having seen Office for OS X leaked – from China, no less, featuring a user interface that has seen a complete overhaul.

As at press time, Outlook 16 happens to be the moniker that has been given to the next generation version of Office for OS X, at least until something official is assigned by Microsoft. It has appeared on a Chinese site which has indicated without a doubt the build number, along with images of different aspects of the upcoming email client. Although Outlook images are the only ones to have been leaked so far, it would not be too wild for our imagination to think that screenshots of the whole Office suite will eventually arrive on the Internet some time down the road. Are you excited for the upcoming version of Office for OS X?
