onda-v891wWhen it comes to the world of tablets, it is not too often that one would have Windows in mind as the operating system of choice, having taken into consideration the number of Android-powered tablets, not to mention iPads from Apple that have already flooded the market. Well, Onda of China decided to take the road less traveled with the Onda V891w, which will be a new Windows-powered tablet that runs on an Intel Atom Bay Trail processor.

This particular tablet will feature an 8.9” display at 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, where it retails for a mere $130 over in China. However, you are required to fork out a wee bit more if you happen to reside Stateside, unless the shipping or courier company that is sending this in happens to be running a charity.

As for the nitty gritty, the Onda V891w will run on an Intel Atom Z3735F quad-core processor, which will be accompanied by 2GB RAM, has 32GB of internal memory, sports a 5MP rear camera, a 2MP camera in front, 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes. A 5,000mAh battery keeps it running, while your eyes and fingers will appreciate the 5-point capacitive touchscreen and wide viewing angles on this IPS display.
