galaxy-note-4-lollipopThere is nothing quite like having the latest version of a mobile operating system purring on your smartphone device, and the folks over at Samsung know this, which is why we have received word that the aging flagship device is on the right path of receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in due time.

At first, there was hope for a November release date for Android 5.0 Lollipop, before the date was moved over to December, according to industry insiders. I suppose that is not too long to wait, taking into consideration how we have slightly more than two months left to go in the current calendar year before things are wrapped up for good.

In other words, any other flagship device out there in the market that are set to receive this particular version of the Android operating system within the next three months would be an impressive feat, really, after taking into consideration how Android releases have been in the past, not to mention how carrier versions tend to be a whole lot slower in the larger scheme of things. All that Galaxy S5 owners would need to do now is to cross their fingers and play the patience game. Are you all right with waiting for a couple more months?
