By now you may have heard about #bendgate. Soon after Apple’s new iPhones hit the market some customers found that their iPhone 6 Plus units were bending when carried around in particularly tight pockets. The company’s rivals wasted no time in jumping on the trend and mocking Apple till their heart’s content. Samsung is no stranger to taking shots at Apple and in a new video highlighting the Galaxy Note 4 the company proudly shows off that its latest flagship doesn’t bend.

In all honesty, the issue of bending iPhones was way overblown. Apple even gave the media access to its testing facility to show that all new products are tested to ensure they’re up to its strict standards, obviously it was trying to squash the notion that perhaps the larger iPhone 6 had a design flaw.

Samsung so casually mentions in this new video that there are some phones out there that may bend especially if they’re carried around in the back pockets. The company then puts a Galaxy Note 4 unit through a test that shows it doesn’t bend. It goes so far as to place a rather heavy albeit fake set of buttocks on the Note 4 just to demonstrate it can take the stress.

The company then explains that Galaxy Note 4’s metal frame and magnesium bracket go a long way in ensuring that the device does not bend. Apple fans may fume at this video but we all know Samsung would never let such an opportunity to bash its arch nemesis slip away so easily.
