xperia t3_3The Sony Xperia T3, which has been deemed to be the world’s slimmest 5.3” smartphone earlier this June, is now available for purchase over in the US via the Sony Store. It was also last week that Sony introduced the Sony Xperia Z3 flagship smartphone in the US over T-Mobile, and there has also been pre-orders taken for the Xperia Z3 Compact that will be unlocked this early November. Apart from that, those who do not happen to have the budget will also be able to pick from the Sony Xperia T3, which is a mid-range handset that was first introduced over in Europe as well as Asia some months ago.

Selling for $399.99 a pop as an unlocked device, the Sony Xperia T3 happens to measure just 7mm thin, and comes with a stainless steel frame that ought to add some class to the entire shebang. There will be a trio of colors to choose from – black, purple and white, and it will feature a 5.3” display at 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, an 8MP camera at the back, a quad-core 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory, a 2,500 mAh battery, and Android 4.4 KitKat as the mobile operating system of choice. There will be LTE connectivity thrown into the mix, but it is said to be compatible only with AT&T, T-Mobile and various GSM networks – which means you are out of luck if you happen to rock on with Verizon or Sprint
