Ever since Sprint was taken over by new CEO Marcelo Claure it has had a renewed focus in taking the fight to its rivals. Recently AT&T announced a new promotion through which subscribers on its family plans could receive double the amount of data they were actually paying for, they only needed to sign up within the promotional period and then could available double data for as long as they remained on that plan. Sprint today reiterated its commitment to the “double the data” pledge and is now offering double the data of AT&T’s plans.

All new and existing Sprint customers will get virtually double the amount of data on their Sprint Family Share pack. Subscribers on 32GB, 40GB and 60GB plans will receive 60GB, 80GB and 120GB of data at no additional cost provided that they sign up for this prior to October 31st, the very same day that AT&T’s promotion ends.

Interested subscribers can avail this promotion either through a Sprint store, by calling the carrier or through its website. Sprint has also said that additional retail outlets will offer the promotion in the near future as well.

Sprint also announced double the data for its business plans, doubling business customers from 40GB, 60GB, 80GB and 100GB at no additional cost if they sign up by October 31st.
