t-mobile-logoMobile carrier T-Mobile USA has just announced some startling good news – at least in their books, that they happen to be months ahead of schedule when it comes to reaching out to their subscribers. Basically, 250 million Americans are now able to experience what T-Mobile claims to be America’s “fastest nationwide 4G LTE network”. Basically, T-Mobile saw the initial roll out of their LTE network, arriving at nationwide coverage status some months ahead of schedule. Apart from that, they also saw the nationwide availability of Voice over LTE (VoLTE) in a matter of just three months right after rolling it out in Seattle.

Right now, they happen to be on track to cover up to 280 million people with 4G LTE by the time the middle of next year arrives, and also to touch the 300 million mark by the end of 2015. This is made possible thanks to the use of T-Mobile’s 700 MHz and 1900 MHz PCS spectrum with LTE, alongside the push for LTE on their AWS spectrum. There will be more than 40 markets, including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., which will be the first of what will soon be many to obtain LTE connectivity on the 1900 MHz PCS spectrum, not to mention progress when it comes to the network preparation of their recently acquired low-band 700 MHz A-Block spectrum.
