huawei wifiWiFi hotspot devices are pretty standard fare. They look unassuming and we’re sure what users are more interested in would be its speeds and its battery life. That being said, if you’re after those things and want it to look good at the same time, you might be interested to learn that Huawei has recently unveiled the Mobile WiFi Prime E5878.

According to Huawei, the device will allow for connectivity speeds of up to 150Mbps and will allow users to connect as many as 10 devices to it, although we’re guessing speeds will be hampered if you have a lot of devices connected to it. The Chinese company is also boasting that the WiFi hotspot is the world’s thinnest mobile LTE WiFi device.

The device measures 7.5mm thin, thanks to its use of Nano Molding Technology that combines metal and polymer into a seamless material, which at the same time also makes it more durable and harder to crack, so dropping it on the floor shouldn’t be an issue. The device will feature a press and play functionality that will start up the device in 5 seconds.

It will also sport a 0.96-inch OLED display that shows information like how many devices are connected, how much data has been used, how many text messages have been sent/received and so on. Under the hood it will be powered by a HiSilicon A9 processor with LTE Cat4 connectivity and a 1,900mAh battery that promises 8 hours of battery life of constant LTE usage.
