While most of us launch our consoles to play games, sometimes a little customization and personalization in the menus or dashboards wouldn’t hurt, right? Well the good news is that if you were wondering if the ability to customize your Xbox One’s dashboard like you could the Xbox 360, you’re in luck because it looks like it will be arriving in the future.

This was confirmed during The Inner Circle podcast by Microsoft’s head of Xbox Phil Spencer which you can check it out in the video above. According to Spencer, he stated that features like themes and background pics are things that Microsoft has been working on, and that the ability to take in-game screenshots is another feature that will be added in the future.

Microsoft has been hard at work at releasing new updates for the console that added features that were not available at launch. We’ve seen how Microsoft has included a new media player, support for external hard drives, and we guess themes, background photos, and screenshots are some of the future features that Microsoft has yet to add.

Unfortunately Spencer could not provide a solid release date for those features, but we guess at the very least we know that it is coming, so stay tuned and check back with us at a later date for more updates!
