moto-360-smartwatch-review-17

The Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am has tried his hand at technology a couple of times and now he is jumping on the latest trend in the market: smartwatches. That’s right, Will.i.am is going to unveil a smartwatch on October 16th. To some of you this date might sound familiar because that’s when Apple is going to show off new iPads and a new iMac. The smartwatch will be unveiled in San Francisco as well.

Now not much is known about this smartwatch right now, the full specs list is not available. It is expected to have support for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and thus eliminating the need to be linked with a smartphone for data connection.

At one point Will.i.am even revealed that the smartwatch would have apps like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram which has led many to believe that it might be powered by Android.

Music would obviously be front and center here. 7digital, a UK based firm, has reportedly developed a music service which will be available on this smartwatch and will feature artists signed with major record labels.

Will.i.am has showed off the watch at multiple occassions on television but a formal launch is now slated for October 16th. No word as yet on how much this smartwatch is actually going to cost if and when it is released to the public.
