mass-effect-3-reckoning-citadel-dlcBioWare’s Mass Effect franchise is a popular game amongst gamers, but if there’s one thing that we’re sure gamers wouldn’t mind is if BioWare decides to bring the game over onto the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. Well the semi-good news is that it looks like BioWare could be very well considering it.

Spotted in a post on NeoGAF (via Eurogamer), BioWare Edmonton and Montreal chief Aaryn Flynn talked about the possibility of bringing the Mass Effect Trilogy over onto next-gen consoles. Flynn mentions that features such as 1080p resolution and 60fps framerates are some of the more demanded features from gamers.

However he also mentions that there are some hurdles that they would need to clear. “First it would be a helluva lot of work. Second, I hate the idea of us being accused of ‘retconning’ ME1. Third there are those who prefer ME1… So given that all that, it doesn’t feel like the right thing to do.”

We suppose this means that we won’t be expecting the game anytime soon but at the same time it looks like the developers are at the very least exploring the possibility. In the meantime what do you guys think? Would you love to see the Mass Effect Trilogy brought over onto next-gen consoles?
