So while Intel could be thinking about stopping the subsidies of cheap Android tablets come 2015, perhaps the same cannot be said about cheap Windows tablets because it seems that come Black Friday, Intel has a cheap Windows-based tablet that will be going on sale for a very affordable $99.

Made by E FUN, the tablet is the Nextbook that will feature an 8-inch display and will be powered by an Intel Atom processor with Windows 8.1 running the show. The tablet will feature a display resolution of 1280×800, 16GB of onboard storage than can be expanded via an SD memory card, a 2MP rear-facing camera, and a 0.3MP front-facing camera.

Users will also be getting a free one-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal, a 1TB OneDrive cloud account, although this might not necessarily be a good thing as users will have to pay to maintain their Office 365 Personal subscription, unless they don’t plan on using Microsoft’s productivity suites at all.

Now it isn’t necessarily the most powerful tablet, but it’s affordable and if you’re looking for a secondary tablet or just want something cheap to use on the go, perhaps this might be worth your consideration.
