Do good things come in twos? I suppose so, as we have just received official word from Fleksy that they have dropped the price of their app, and at the same time, have also broken its very own Guinness World Records record as the world’s fastest keyboard. After all, Fleksy happens to be the keyboard that was used in setting the Guinness World Record for, “fastest time to type a text message on a touchscreen device,” and hence it is no surprise to see it in action again to better its previous achievement.

The iOS app for Fleksy was introduced to the masses a couple of months ago, where the iPhone 6 Plus ended up as the fastest phone when it comes to typing, and 17-year old Marcel Fernandes who made use of Fleksy’s iOS keyboard, managed to surpass his previous effort of 18.19 seconds, shaving off more than a whole second – and setting a new world record in the process at 17.00 seconds.

Ioannis Verdelis, Fleksy co-founder and COO, tooted, “We’re very proud of Fleksy’s involvement in helping Marcel achieve this impressive feat. The speed and accuracy Fleksy provides have yet again proven world-class.” Right now, Fleksy has dropped its price to $1.99 on Android. There is also an iOS version available if you’re interested.
