hp-pro-tablet-10-fccWhen it comes to the world of tablets, there are dime a dozen models for one to choose from. In fact, it can be quite a selection headache if you do not have an idea on what you are looking for. Having said that, with each piece of consumer electronics that are meant to be released in the US, it will have to go through the FCC first, and the HP Pro Tablet 10 EE G1 happens to be one such tablet that has just appeared over at the FCC earlier this week. A quick look at the support document on HP’s very own website does confirm a tablet that is known by that name, and it will be different from the other tablets in the Pro range.

Details concerning the HP Pro Tablet 10 EE G1 still remain scant as at press time, although the name itself does suggest that this bad boy will come with a 10” display, where tests results point to it being manufactured by the good people over at Foxconn, where connectivity options include 802.11b/g/n dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. Not only that, there will also be a 7,700mAh battery that will keep it going

HP will most likely put up for sale a WiFi-only model in addition to a 3G capable version which will feature a Huawei WWAN module so that it can hook up to GSM/WCDMA networks. Pricing and availability details remain unknown as at press time, and neither do we know whether this bad boy will run on Windows or the Android platform – only time will be able to tell.
