HTC recently announced that it is running a new “Hot Deals” promotion which will see one device receiving a major price cut every week. This promotion runs straight to the holiday season so it is a good move on the company’s part to move some units. Last week it kicked things off with a significant price cut for the new Nexus 9. For next week the company has cut HTC One (M8) unlocked price quite a bit, giving a great opportunity to those who have been meaning to pick up this device off contract.

As part of the Hot Deals promotion the HTC One (M8) unlocked will be sold for only $299. That’s all customers need to pay in order to pick up a unit without having to sign a conventional service contract or pay for the device’s cost through monthly installments. Since it will be an unlocked variant customers can also choose which carrier they ultimately want to use.

There is a caveat though. HTC says that this price will only be available for the first 200 customers who can start ordering at 9 AM PT today. The next 300 customers will be able to purchase the unlocked HTC One (M8) for a discounted price of $499.

It is better to rush to get the order in since the offer is only valid until stocks last. At this price, it won’t surprise anyone if the units get snapped up fairly quickly. Head to HTC’s Hot Deals website to purchase.
