honor 6x

Just the other day, Huawei announced the Honor 4X, a handset which came with a 64-bit chipset and a battery life that could potentially last for 72 hours. However apart from those specs, the phone does not appear to be a particularly high-end model. That being said, thanks to a recent sighting at China’s TENAA (the country’s version of the FCC), the Huawei Honor 6X has been revealed.

Based on the alleged specs, it looks like the Huawei Honor 6X could be a high-end device. It will allegedly feature a 5.5-inch display, an aluminum edge around the phone and will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. While the make of the processor is unknown, it has been speculated that it could be Huawei’s own Kirin processor that is being used.

The phone supposedly comes with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, and will feature a microSD card slot for memory expansion. It is also interesting to note that in the photo above, it reveals two cameras on the back of the device. It is unclear as to how they might be used, but it has been suggested that it could be similar to HTC’s Duo Camera which provides a depth-of-field effect to photos.

The Huawei Honor 6X is also said to be announced by the end of the year and if the sighting on TENAA is any accurate, we guess that is a possibility, so do check back with us at a later date for the details.
