Ever since the AT&T Drive Studio opened up in January earlier this year, a dozen companies have already decided to team up alongside AT&T so that they will be able to collaborate and develop on new services which will be implemented in a connected car sometime down the road. LG Electronics would be the latest company to be part of the AT&T Drive Studio.

In AT&T Drive Studio’s sponsorship agreement with LG, both companies will be able to work alongside on the AT&T Drive platform so that they can develop support services on automotive grade hardware as well as equipment which will hopefully see action in the connected vehicles of the future.

The AT&T Drive Studio that has approximately 5,000 square feet of space will boast of working garage bays, a speech lab, and even a full showroom which will show off the latest innovations and conference facilities among others. The Drive Studio itself will integrate AT&T solutions across different companies, functioning as a hub where AT&T is able to respond to needs of automotive manufacturers as well as the auto ecosystem on the whole. Are you excited about seeing a connected car in the future, and hopefully there will be little – or no downtime at all. [Press Release]
