meizu-flymeWhen it comes to having the latest mobile operating system version on your smartphone, you can be sure that most, if not all, of the other manufacturers out there would certainly want to push out their wares as soon as possible. The thing is, things do run into snags at times, whether by design or chance. Meizu might be working on something that will be announced this coming November 19th, where some have touted it to be the Meizu MX4 Pro. Having said that, what about the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop release?

Meizu’s Head of Flyme (which is the user interface from Meizu) did put up a screenshot recently that suggested how Android 5.0 Lollipop updates might make its way to selected Meizu devices. Apart from that, Meizu’s official Facebook page has also pointed to a similar direction.

It remains to be seen just which particular handsets from Meizu will be on the receiving end of Android 5.0 Lollipop, but it would not be too far off the mark to make the assumption that the Meizu MX4 would be the first of the lot to receive this particular update. After all, that handset was released in just September a couple of months back, and it carried Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
