paypal-msHere is a little bit of good news if you happen to be a developer who makes use of the Microsoft Advertising SDK in order to monetize your Windows and Windows Phone apps – you can now opt to have your payment go all the way to your PayPal account, now how about that? This would encompass existing developers, and if you were to switch over to PayPal, doing so is more or less painless without having any kind of negative impact on payouts or payment history.

In order to add a PayPal account in pubCenter, you will first need to click on the “Manage account” gear icon on the left side of the screen, and right next to “Payment details”, you would have to click on “Create payment method”. Following that, under “Choose a payment method”, select PayPal. From there, you will need to fill in your PayPal email address as well as billing address, before clicking “Next”. The moment the PayPal account is saved, you can then check out the account details under “Payment details”. There are 25 different markets which will accept payment via PayPal accounts, where most of them happen to be developed countries with a ready infrastructure in place already. [Press Release]
