So just yesterday Microsoft officially announced the Lumia 535. While there have been several phones released by Microsoft post-Nokia acquisition, the Lumia 535 marks it as the first Windows Phone handset to be released by Microsoft that does not bear the Nokia branding on its back, but rather Microsoft’s.

That being said if you were thinking about getting your hands on the device, Microsoft has since released their official hands-on video of the smartphone which you can check out in the video above. Granted this does seem to be more of a promotional video rather than a neutral and unbiased review of the handset, it does give us a good idea of what we can expect.

The Lumia 535 might not necessarily boast the most high-end of specs, but assuming the Lumia 520’s success is anything to go on, the Lumia 535 could end up being a hit amongst customers who are shopping on a budget, and especially in emerging markets where not everyone can afford a high-end smartphone.

The Lumia 535 is expected to be released this month where it will be sold in a variety of different colors and will be priced around the 110 Euros mark. So, will you be picking up the Lumia 535 for yourself upon its release?
