Many people around the world are looking forward to the movie on Steve Jobs that’s written by Aaron Sorkin, based on the official biography of the Apple co-founder penned by Walter Isaacson. So far the cast has not been confirmed even though some very big names have been rumored for roles, including but not limited to Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale. While both of them were rumored to play jobs, word on the street is that Natalie Portman has been approached for a role in the Steve Jobs movie as well.

It is not clear what role Portman has been offered but there’s speculation that she might play the role of Jobs’s daughter Lisa. Jobs reconciled with his estranged daughter later in life.

Aaron Sorkin has already suggested that Lisa is going to play a crucial role in this film which is essentially divided into three parts of thirty minutes that cover three of the most crucial product launches in the history of Apple.

So far it is also unclear who is going to direct the movie. At one point David Fincher was also believed to be attached to the project. As for who will play Jobs, the latest name being floated around is that of German actor Michael Fassbender, though as yet Universal hasn’t confirmed the cast. The movie has ended up with Universal after Sony put it in turnaround and sold the rights for some $30 million.
