nexus-6-review-2

A few days back it was rumored that the latest smartphone from Google’s Nexus lineup will be available for pre-order across the pond very soon. Today the Nexus 6 pre-orders have opened up in the UK. Those who have been anxiously waiting to get their hands on a unit can go ahead and place their pre-orders, shipping will take some time to begin, but at least you’ll get an idea of when your Nexus 6 is going to reach you.

This year Google teamed up to Motorola to create the new Nexus smartphone. The Nexus 6 has a 6-inch Quad HD display with specifications that match most of its rivals. This is one of the reasons why the handset costs so much, its a departure from previous Nexus devices, which were not spec’d up to the limit just so they could be offered at a competitive price.

Nexus 6 is a whole other story. It costs about the same as other flagship smartphones and offers more or less the same specifications. In the UK the 32GB and 64GB Nexus 6 models are available for pre-order, with a price tag of £499 and £549 respectively.

Retailers carrying the device include Amazon, Unlocked-Mobiles and Carphone Warehouse. Color and storage configurations vary per retailer. Shipping is expected to begin by December 15th as of now, hopefully this date will be met.
