nexus 6 oosHad your eye on the new Nexus 6 handset from Motorola? Well if you weren’t quick on the draw when it came to pre-orders, you’d be out of luck, but it looks like even now the handset is continuing to sell out. The handset can be bought from either Google Play or Motorola’s website, and if you thought that the latter was a good alternative, you might be mistaken.

According to reports, it seems that the Nexus 6 has managed to sell out on both Google Play and the Motorola website, thus proving its popularity, but then again given its hardware specs and features and the stock Android build, we can’t say that this really comes as a surprise. Then again given that the Nexus 6 was not subsidized unlike previous Nexus handsets, it shows that customers are still willing to pay full price for such a powerful handset.

Reports have also suggested that the HTC Nexus 9 tablet released alongside the Nexus 6 is also facing huge demand. Apparently the demand for the tablet is big enough where HTC had to expand its production capacity in order to help keep up with the number of orders coming through the door.

It is unclear as to when Motorola will be restocking the Nexus 6 on their website, but Google has promised to restock the phone every Wednesday, so you can try your luck then.
