google-nexus-6-4The Nexus 6 handset is the latest Nexus device from Google. It packs some impressive hardware under the hood and interestingly enough despite Google not subsidizing the smartphone this time around, it has managed to sell out within minutes of it going up for sale, which means that if you were slow on the trigger, you’d be out of luck.

So when will the handset be back in stock? Are users expected to refresh the Google Play Store every hour just to check? Well the good news is that you won’t have to. In an update posted by Google on the Nexus 6’s product page, Google has revealed that stock for the handset will be replenished every Wednesday.

“We are getting more Nexus 6 devices in stock as soon as possible. To make things simpler for you, we will work to make more devices available each Wednesday and encourage you to visit the site then.” Google has also directed its customers to alternative channels such as carriers where the phone can be purchased from.

That being said, supply shortage is usually a common occurrence when it’s about a product that many are excited over. In fact Apple’s iPhone 6 supply is still severely constrained with customers having to wait around a month for their orders to reach their doorsteps.
