oneplus-preorder

You might not be alone in your struggle for a OnePlus One unit. This “flagship killer” has been pretty hard to get. At first the company was running an invite only system through which a unit could only be purchased when an invite was received. Last month OnePlus finally opened up pre-orders for everyone, albeit only for one day, which also turned out to be a disaster since server issues prevented people from getting their orders in. Now the company is bringing back pre-orders for a second time with better preparation.

OnePlus says that a lot has changed behind the scenes. Presumably these changes should enable the site to keep up with the surge of visitors that land on it the day the pre-orders are opened once again.

The ordering process remains the same. Interested customers can go here to prepare their cart and add the shipping and billing information in advanced. Pre-orders will be opened for just one hour on November 17th at 8am PST, 11am EST. During this hour customers can check out their unit.

OnePlus says that if units are available in stock they will be shipped immediately. If not, an estimated shipping time will be provided. Customers will not be charged until their order actually ships. Those who receive an invite during this period can use it to upgrade their pre-order and receive immediate shipping.
