ps4So, you happen to be one of those unlucky ones who downloaded and installed the PlayStation 4 update 2.0 and run into issues, such as the Rest Mode bug, which does not allow the console to “wake up” from Rest Mode once it has entered that particular state. It is a good thing then, that there will be an update released which will be able to fix this bug, and the update fix is set to arrive today in the form of the PS4 update v2.01.

In other words, you no longer need to worry about your beloved PS4 console actually going into sleep mode – without having it not wake up. The PS4 system software update 2.01 promises to fix an issue that is related to several affected PS4 consoles. Those who would like to make the update will be able to find it in the Sony PS4 through the system software update option. For those who have downloaded the update, how has your experience been?

It is nice to see Sony respond to the situation as quickly as possible within their means, and I am sure that the Rest Mode bug has not stopped anyone from purchasing the Sony PS4 console if they have not picked it up just yet.
