gta soundtrack limitedSome gamers might prefer to listen to their own music while playing games, while others don’t mind listening to the game’s soundtrack, especially when you consider how much effort goes into making said soundtrack. Well if you’re a fan of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V, you might be interested to learn that Rockstar has recently announced that they will be releasing limited edition collections of the game’s soundtrack.

The soundtracks will be released in both CD and vinyl formats, so if you’re a collector of vinyl records, we reckon that this should make a good addition to your collection. As to how limited we are talking about, it seems that only 5,000 units of The Music of Grand Theft Auto will be released worldwide, so safe to say that they could be snapped up pretty quick.

The soundtrack will include 59 tracks and will include songs from artists such as The Creator, Twin Shadow, Flying Lotus, and more. The CD version will come in 3 discs and a V-branded gold brick-shaped USB drive, artwork, and a poster. The vinyl version will include 6 records, a color booklet, and an exclusive lithograph poster.

Unfortunately pricing for either the CD or vinyl version of the album has not been revealed, but they are expected to go for sale come 9th December via online retailers as well as physical record stores, so you’ll probably want to keep your eyes peeled for it.
