apple-auctionWhen it comes to Apple as a company, most people would know of the two people – Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, but there is a third person who was also a co-founder of Apple, and that would be the extremely low profile Ronald Wayne. He too, played an instrumental role when it comes to the earliest days of the company that has a $700 billion market capitalization, and this time around, he will be putting up his collection of private documents on auction. These are no ordinary private documents, do take note of that, as they will be related to the fragile and young days at Apple.

This is not the first time that we have seen Apple items being auctioned, but this sale which will be held by the Christie’s auction house, will feature proof sheets for the original Apple-1 operating manual as well as a bunch of preparatory drawings and blueprints that boast of the Apple II computer. Apart from that, there is also an unused pre-order sheet for the Apple II that will be part of the deal. All of these are documents alone, which means no hardware will be part of the auction.

Interestingly enough, the proof sheets and sketches alone are touted to feature a guide price of $30,000 to $50,000 when the sale happens on December 11.
