sony-a7-II-2014-11-20-01It was just a few days ago when we brought you word that the Sony Alpha A7 II was tipped to arrive over in the US some time in January or February next year. Well, here are some details on the company’s collection of full frame cameras which will see another four models thrown into the mix, while there are also price cuts for some of the current models. The upcoming Sony A7 full-frame interchangeable-lens camera, known as the A7 II, is the main catalyst for Sony’s permanent price cuts.

For starters, the body-only version of the Sony A7 falls would now cost $1,300, which is not the cheapest price where a full-frame camera is concerned, but chances are it is one of the lowest official price for an existing model, while those who prefer to pick it up in a kit alongside the 28-70mm f3.5-5.6 lens can do so for a more affordable $1,600. As for the Sony A7R, that model fails to benefit too much from Sony’s price cut, as it will cost $2,100 for the body alone.

Well, one thing is for sure – if you do not need to be an early adopter in the camera industry, and would like a more than decent performer while maximizing the use of your money, then it might be well worth the effort to check out these price cuts for your holiday shopping spree.
